The world has people in it now, and they decide for themselves.
A world of people
Every villager weighs their needs, personality, skills, mood and bonds, and chooses what to do: work, eat, rest, talk, teach, tinker, argue, even steal or desert. Settlements track eight needs and open their own projects. Caravans and visitors travel between villages, and you meet them on the road. When someone is attacked, the people nearby come to help.
Mission Control
Press Shift+N to see what everyone in your settlements is doing, the full roster and their roles, and change it: work priorities, projects, standing orders and the chronicle.
Trade
Sell to caravans and visitors out of their own purse, swap goods at village counters, and deal with pedlars on the road. Scrap is money, and prices move with supply and demand.
26 named places
Hamlets and villages with glowing windows, a farm with a windmill, orchards, an inn and a palisade hold; cliffs and frozen falls, a quarry with a crane, a fortress on its crag, crystal mines, a wreck under a lighthouse and boardwalk marshes. Place names show as you walk in, and they are labelled on your map once seen.
