Everything you build now looks built: joints, undersides and feet sit in shadow, and each object reads as one thing rather than parts stacked together.
Furniture, camps and roadside scenes
All the furnishings and hand-made camp pieces are rebuilt, with bevelled and turned wood, pegged joints, iron straps, draped cloth and lashed rope. All 33 roadside scenes are rebuilt too, and twice as many now carry a light at night.
24 new buildings
Each one can be built and does something: a watermill, smithy, brewhouse, chandlery, ropewalk and wool shed; a salt house, tar kiln, fishing hut on piles, hunting lodge, herbalist's cottage, dovecote and toll house; an ice house and root cellar for slow spoilage; a glass cold-house, bell tower, road shrine and bathhouse; a wagon shed, a market hall, guard barracks, a coaching inn and a longhouse. They also appear in named places and living villages.
The mine
A real mine entrance with a headframe, lamp room, rails and a spoil tip, and winding tunnels with timber sets, lanterns and ore carts. There are 19 veins of coal, copper, quartz and red ember geodes, and seven cave foes that fight back.
41 plants
Trees, conifers, grasses, wildflowers, ferns and groundcover across the regions, hardy succulents in the dry barrens, and warm plants in hot-spring pockets. Eight potted plants can furnish a home. (Plants: FABOTANIC by AMIX, used under its terms.)
